Texas dog found by neighbor alone in parking lot with no chip after escaping doggy day care, gets reunited with pawrent, rescuer says: ‘I’m a little sad to see him go since he was so sweet’

In a surprise twist this dumped doggo story does not result in the rescuer adopting the dog, nor does it result in the dog going to a shelter. Instead it is a success story in which the pupper is swiftly reunited with its pawrent, going back to its rightful place in the world.

Sure, it does start with the dumping of a doggo, but who are we to judge others and what they are going through. Sometimes the wrong thing to do can feel like the right thing to do simply because you are in such a tough spot that you cannot imagine doing anything else. And while our pupper pawrent starts their journey in this way, they soon come to realize that they can do more and be better and quickly reform their ways to bring the pup home to where it was always meant to be.

The lucky thing being that dogs are incredibly forgiving and will always want to be with their pawrent more than anyone else. So if you ever find yourself in a situation where you are rescuing a dog who has been abandoned, perhaps wait a while before taking it to the shelter to be adopted. You never know if their pawrent will be back for them.

Wow, what a tough situation. Life is getting tougher and tougher to navigate for all of us and when the crunch comes, hard choices have to be made. Now, we are most certainly not advocating for dumping any animals, that is irresponsible no matter how hard life is kicking ya. But we can understand just how racked with guilt this woman must have been to have to choose between eating herself, or getting food for her dog. And coming to the realization that she could not give the dog the life it deserved. People make rash decisions in tough times and this is one that she will certainly be feeling regret over.

Well, thankfully this story is about to take a turn for the better and no one will end up visiting the shelter. This rescuer did the right thing in waiting before taking this poor pupper to be adopted, as at the end of the day if a dog can avoid going to the shelter it is much better than if they are only there for a day or two. You have to think that a shelter is almost akin to being sent to jail and when you walk into the jail there is graffiti everywhere detailing how bad the place is and what happened to the various people who had been there before you. Except that for dogs its all written in smell. We cannot imagine the terror.
